I have presented it as a short course, it takes you through the craft only at about the same level as you will find in the many books on Wicca, and other commercial formats of the craft. There are specific websites we can recommend that will take you on from this into far greater detail with major (free) courses.

I decided not to attempt to cover everything within this course, and have designed it as a foundation you can read before exploring all the information on the main water witches site. This same foundation knowledge will then allow you to read many other path and understand what they stand for as well, or go off to www.witchpages.com  and see old magical texts, or books of shadows of different traditions and understand what you see.

Who am I, who wrote this short course and why.

I am known as Aqua, I am what you would think of as the most senior Water Witch, and because of this an adviser to very many other traditions, as you will get to see. The role of Aqua is one I have for the remainder of my life, and I get to  suggest the person to follow me, but not hereditary in that it does not get passed down through the family. 

I had a another witches name before and a craft skill within a a coven, but my role now is to help all witches I can, and to help as many peoples wishes come true as I can. I also have to role of advising and encouraging many paths to work together. 

So why did I put this course together. Well there are two far larger ones at this time still in development, where I am leading project teams, one for teens and the other a university level course, but these are for people who have already decided to get far more deeply involved, here I want to just give you enough knowledge to understand what the craft is all about. So I am going to pose as many questions as I answer and involve you in some thinking for yourself and some simple experiments.

Once you have this level of understanding, the main water witches public site this came off will make more sense as will many of the other sites about specific paths. We don't believe we get brownie points for converts, so none of the paths I am going to introduce, will try to convert you, it is your choice, select which you like or non at all.

This short course is far more personal, and both relates what I have experienced and how things may effect you. I have however tried to keep it all as short as possible.
